Twyla is available to an approved guardian home where she can enjoy life as a beloved family companion while remaining an important part of our breeding program. She's an active one who loves fetching and water/swimming.
Here's what being a guardian family means for one of our girls:
- She will live with you full-time as your family pet.
- Around 2 years of age, we'll schedule her final health clearances (typically just a day appointment).
- At some point in the future, if she passes all of her health testing, we hope to have one or more litters from her. This is not expected to happen for several years.
- We cover all breeding-related expenses, including health testing, reproductive care, and any supplements we want her to receive.
- When it is time for a litter, she will come stay with us approximately two weeks before her due date and remain with us until the puppies are around six weeks old before returning home to you.
Our biggest priority is finding the perfect forever family. While we hope she'll one day contribute to our breeding program, her happiness and having a loving, stable home will always come first.
She comes crate- and leash-trained, potty box- and pee pad-trained, and UTD on shots and vaccines. Twyla has a little too much energy for our older cats but does well with them overall.
