A true cornerstone of the Westlane program, Hoss brought exceptional height, substance, and presence to our lines. He was the kind of dog that made an impression instantly powerful yet balanced, with the classic Labrador type we value.

His temperament was a true testament of what Westlane breeds for. Three of his children have gone on to work in therapy & service work.

​Now retired, Hoss’s legacy at Westlane lives on most notably through his daughter, Twyla, who carries forward his structure, strength, and unmistakable outline. His influence remains an important piece of the foundation we continue to build on here.
