Therapy/Service

We are happy to have produced these service and therapy dogs, that have benefited numerous individuals and families.

Beginning in 2025, we began having our entire litters evaluated at 7 weeks of age by Marie Melton of GSC Training & Transport. Marie is certified and has over 15 years of experience working with service and therapy dogs and uses the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test to assess each puppy’s temperament, confidence, social drive, and suitability for various working or companion roles. Prior to 2025, we had individual puppies and select litters evaluated, but this expanded approach ensures a consistent and comprehensive assessment of every puppy in each litter.

Hero began his service dog training and is already begun forming a solid bond with his new owner Jennifer, who he will be her personal SD companion.

"Oscar is doing amazingly well! He just wrapped up his good canine manners class and is getting ready to take the CGC test next quarter. He’s on a path to becoming a service dog, and he even passed his public access test yesterday! He is incredibly smart, learns fast and has a very calm temperament."
He will be with his mom Keila who works at a hospital.

Uthyr is thriving with his new family. Soon they'll be starting on his official obedience training and going for his CGC. With his new mom Stephanie, he will be visiting hospitals and other places to help give comfort to others.

Luca & Stella from our Adi/Astro 2022 Litter
"... Luca has passed his CGC and is on track and seeming to like wellness support dog work at the police dept ! He loves kids and has been going to schools and lots of special event and even gotten to work with some of the kid victims in some cases..... Stella is doing well she has the most energy out of the two and drive so working her mind a lot. She is super smart sometimes too smart lol! Recently Shelly's husband had a heart attack and she has been so great for his recovery. She also has been doing some work with her dad that has Alzheimer's. In her free time she loves the lake and riding in the boat " Crystal July 2023

New Therapy Team! We're very proud and excited for Ivy and Stephanie. They have finished their training and are now an official service/therapy team with Pet Partners. They're currently visiting bedbound and homebound seniors in adult care homes. - March 2022

In the last year in a half, Joey and Lorelei have accomplished so much together. Through The Association of Professional Dog Trainers, they passed their public access test (making Joey, Lorelei's personal service dog). Joey accurately represents what a trained service dog can do for an individual. Lorelei set personal goals for herself and got out of her comfort zone. They've run around the ring together in Junior Handler classes and rally & obedience trials (they have one more run for his Rally Novice!). - February 2023
