Welcome To Our ​Westlane Life

Since 2008, we’ve been committed to breeding versatile, well-rounded Labrador Retrievers — champions in the ring, capable in field/performance events, and above all, are exceptional companions with outstanding temperaments (many of our Labs have gone on to serve as therapy and service dogs). We’re proud to share that we’ve also expanded our program to include Beagles! 

​At Westlane:
  • Our active dogs, have individual pages that has their pedigree, clearance info, photos, accomplishments, etc... 
  • We breed to improve and advance our lines — never just to produce puppies
  • We are dilute-free and follow all breed standards set by the AKC (American Kennel Club), LRC (Labrador Retriever Club), and NBC (National Beagle Club)
  • We perform thorough health testing and genetic clearances on all breeding dogs.

  • Currently: Drama & Memphis - black & yellow puppies born Nov 5th - *at this time, all spoken for*
  • Currently: Our planned litters for 2025/26 *tentatively* - Chai/Famous (would be black & chocolate puppies) and Gypsy/Thorin (would be black & chocolate puppies).
  • Currently: Brandy & Vince born Sept 23rd - all spoken for - go home time is Dec 4th
  • October: Miley & Famous born August 14th (go home time Oct 24th) - 11 yellow puppies (6B/5G) - Our Keepers: Bamm-Bamm (green collar) Westlane's BedRock, Hickey (teal collar) Westlane's Livin' On The Edge, Paddles/Paddy (purple collar) Westlane's Up The River
  • October: Smudge goes WB both days at Sulphur Springs. Thank you to Ann, Dave, and Kris for showing her when we were not able to!
  • August: We went to our 1st UKC Shows, with Hoss and Boogie. Hoss picked up all 3 of his Competition Wins, achieved his 100 pts, and got a Group 2, a Group 3, and two Group 4s. He is now UKC CH Westlane's Big Country... Boogie knocked it out of the park for not showing in 1.5 years! She achieved 50 of 100 points needed, received 1 Competition Win, and got a Group 3 as well.
  • August: Sister duo, Monroe & Boogie, go the distance and achieve their Dock Diving Novice titles at Stellar Canine!
  • August: Boomer goes BOSS in Canfield, OH under Breeder Judge: Starkey Green (Greenstone)
  • ​April: Team Boomer goes Reserve Best in Show at Greater Daytona DFA!
  • March: DFWLRC's Spring Specialty - Famous goes Best Bred By and Monroe places in her Bred By class after not showing for over a year!
  • February: Boomer takes BOS at Westminster!
  • January: Famous went Winners Dog for a 5pt Major in Miss!​.
  • January: Go team Boomer! He's now CH Gold status
